As a Development Expert, he has helped to establish several NGOs and has worked at the highest level of engagement as Executive Director.
Abayomi Mighty at the young age of 16, was the United Nations Ambassador for African Youth and Children, being the African Youth Spokesperson at the African Leaders Summit on HIV/AIDS.
In his speech to world and African Leaders, he made a strong case for the youths of Africa when he called for the involvement of youths in decision making processes. His speech was well received globally and played a major part in the Abuja Declaration which was eventually adopted by world leaders at the United Nations in New York in June 2001.
His speech at the summit contributed immensely to the success of the global fund worth over 22 billion dollars to Africa to combat HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Tuberculosis and other infectious-related diseases.
It also birthed the establishment of the Ministry of Youth across Africa which was formerly incorporated into the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
After Abayomi Mighty's speech in 2001, issues of the youths have come to the frontburner, making them a major force to reckon with across Africa, all thanks to his heroic speech.
Abayomi Mighty had since inspired and trained several thousands of youth leaders across Nigeria. Many of whom are doing well in businesses, and are holding powerful positions across political parties and major movements in Nigeria.
